Combe Martin SAC member Kyle Bishop has been rewarded for the effort and time he invests targeting big fish along the rocky North Devon Coast. These are just a few of the tope, huss and ray he has tempted. The best tope scaled 36lb and the best huss 11lb 6oz.

Flattie fanatic David Jenkins has registered the first fish into Combe Martin SAC’s new club year a fine flounder of 1lb 14oz.
Big Tope For Kyle
Combe Martin SAC member Kyle Bishop tempted this fine specimen tope of 49lb from a North Devon shore mark earlier this Autumn. An indication of the dedication sometimes required to tempt such a fish Kyle commented that he has blanked on twenty five follow up trips.

Appledore Shipbuilders BASS COMPETITION
Seven anglers fished Appledore Shipbuilders Annual Bass comp at Westward Ho!
Three bass were caught along with a few Small small eyed ray and a Conger.
Winner was Owen Atkinson with a fine fish of 7lb 0oz 4dr he was also second with another Bass weighing 4lb 7oz 12dr
Combe Martin SAC – Competition
Kevin Legge won Combe Martin SAC’s early September competition with a bull huss of 7lb 3oz. Ross Stanway won the species challenge of the competition with four species that included a red mullet.

One of the biggest North Devon wrasse for several years
Combe Martin SAC member Alex Mcleish tempted this stunning ballan wrasse scaling 6lb 2oz from a North Devon rock mark. It is one of the biggest wrasse tempted from the North Devon shoreline in recent seasons.
