Charlie Harvey caught this 32lb 12oz Mirror known as ‘The Peach’ from Upper Tamar using a sticky Manilla boilie coated in korda wondaberry supreme on a chod rig at 70 yards range with a few boilies scatters as freebies.
Stafford Moor Latest – Catches
(Above) Dylan Cockram and friend Seb Taylor fished up on swim 13 on Lodge Lake fishing with A1 baits banoffee burst pop up and washed out pink, they had 8 fish out up to 24lb 4oz.
(Above)Andrew Levett fished with son Thomas age 5. Thomas caught this 26lb 2oz beauty not dad it was son Thomas’s rod we joked that Thomas needs to stay at home next time. Caught from big fish corner on Beatties lake fishing with Nash Tangerine dream 10mm pop up.

UPPER TAMAR
South West Lakes Trusts Upper Tamar lake is in top form at present with some stunning catches of carp coming from its large acreage.
(Below)Aaron Bunning has been back to Upper Tamar and again had a great session with lots of fish including these three attached at 24.14, 19.04 and 18.12. All fish fell to Nashbait scopex squid and coconut creme freebees and hookbaits.

Talk about an opportunistic moment! I was chatting with Roger Maher at Upper Tamar this morning and he informed me he had seen some fish, I went and had a look and saw around 8 fish, the biggest looked like a mid 20 common along with a mirror we recognised at about 23lbs. Dash home and Roger was back with a rod and half an hour later, here she is! 24.12……Top angling Roger. The lake is fishing great, a 32lb mirror and host of other fish have been caught in the last few days including a 20lb fully scaled…….
LOWER TAMAR
Steve Gliddon has caught a target fish from Lower Tamar lake at 24.00. Steve had been after the fish for 5 years but was delighted to finally slip his net under the old warrior! Steve also landed commons of 16lbs and 8lbs during his visit. Lower Tamar is open to everyone having been changed from a syndicate water 2 years ago.
LOWER TAMAR
Lower Slade reservoir in Ilfracombe (North Devon) produced 4 fish over 20lbs at the weekend. Simon Hill had a cracking 23.12 Common and Richard Ball had a common of 20.00.
Stafford Moor Carp
Adam Atkins and dad John Atkins fished the beach swim on Beatties lake at Stafford Moor. They had 9 fish out up to 21lb including a double take using mainline cell 15mm boilies.
(Below) Ian Yan Lawrence who had 2 fish out up to 22lb 6oz from swim 14 up on lodge lake in a day session on Saturday fishing with Mainline cell Walters over a bed of pellet /hemp boilies and corn.
Latest Catches from Anglers Paradise
(Above) AMAZING GOLDEN CATCH! Here is Jonathan Sanders from Corsham, Wiltshire with his truly fantastic Personal Best 5lb 8oz Golden Tench from the Specimen Tench and Orfe Lake! Jonathan caught the beauty on float fished sweetcorn.
Father and Son, Daniel and Michael Shephard stayed with us last week at Anglers Paradise for the first time and wanted to catch some of the Specimens on the main complex Lakes.
Michael Shephard caught a stunning 26lb 4oz Common from the Specimen Carp Lake, Daniel caught two pretty scaley Mirrors of 22lb 1oz and 14lb 7oz, with Daniel also landing a 15lb 5oz Common from the Main Carp Lake. All fish were caught on our popular Paradise Baits ‘The Twist’ boilies. Daniel said – “It has been a pleasure fishing on your complex, we will definitely be coming back with some more of our friends thanks again for having us.”
(Below)2 PERSONAL BESTS FOR YOUNG HARVEY! We are over the moon for Harvey Cooper, age 10 years old from Seaton who’s beaten his Personal Best twice in 2 hours! Harvey caught a 17lb 6oz Mirror and a 22lb 12oz Mirror from the Main Carp Lake. Harvey set up on Friday 13th on Neville’s Point with his brother Tristan and Dad Scott, casting his baits over to the margin of the 5c’s island he settled into the session. At 9pm Harvey had his first take which resulted in a 17lb 6oz Mirror (New PB!!) he left that rod out to let his swim settle. At 11pm his final rod burst into life which resulted in another Personal Best 22lb12oz Mirror. Both fish were caught on Paradise Baits ‘The Twist’ boilies. Harvey said – “Two pb’s in two hours, I was well chuffed!! Friday 13th not unlucky for some!!”
(Below) Julian Chidgey had a couple of hours at Anglers Paradise on the Specimen Carp Lake. After seeing a couple of big carp sunbathing amongst the weed, it took him a while to get them interested, but then out of the blue a lovely fish appeared in the margin and took a stray mixer. Swinging the cut down pop up hookbait into position gave him an instant take and a beautiful 24lb Mirror.
Fine Carp Catch from Lodge Lake
Jake Butcher and Jack Griffiths fished up on Stafford Moors Lodge lake and enjoyed a great session in swim 1 (double swim ) they had 7 fish out between them up to 24lb 4oz caught on Sticky baits Manilla.
Fine Slade Common Carp
Jamie Verney fished Slade Last night and had 2 fish with one being a fine common of 24lb 12oz.
Thirteen Carp Haul at the Moor
Lee Hayden and son Frank had 13 fish out from the summer hut swim on Beatties lake up to 24lb.
