Phil Gilhespy banked a fine common carp of 25lb 10oz from Lower Tamar Lake along with a 13lb common.
Seven Carp Catch from Jennets
Ali Laird thought the weather looked spot on for a bit of Autumn carping and acting on this hunch headed to Jennetts. He enjoyed a brilliant session banking seven carp including fish of 23lb 7oz, 21lb 14oz ,19lb plus 3 good doubles and a little mirror.
Twenty Three more twenties for Upper Tamar
South West Lakes continue carp stocking into Upper Tamar with another 23 fish all over 20lbs stocked. They managed to get some of those fish being released on film.

Now that the Tamar stocking is nearing completion we will be turning our attention to some of our other fantastic waters and looking at how we can improve them including stocking opportunities. We will update you on plans for the other lakes as things progress so please keep an eye on our website.

These fine carp where tempted from Hacche Moors Botton Lake. At this time of year many believe carp look their best.
A Kracking Carp from Paradise
Dave Gorry who has caught a personal best 37lb 4oz Common from Nirvana’s Kracking Carp Lake!
Dave caught the Common from peg 1 using a 16mm Krill boilie topped with pop up corn.

Melbury In Fine Form
Melbury has been in fine form over the last couple of months. Neil Harvey sent a report to SWLT after a recent visit. ‘Single Scale’ at 26lb 8oz was the highlight of all the fish.
‘Cracking session on Melbury. Done Thursday morning to Saturday lunchtime. I had 15 runs and landed 12 carp. I had 5 fish in the night last night and I’m shattered!’

Chris Williams enjoyed a great session on Furzebrays Island lake banking Charlotte at 45lb, Star at 40lb 8oz Angies Common at 38lb and a string of upper 20’s.
