Stafford Moor In Fine Carp Form

(Above) Bruce Julian caught 5 fish up to 27lb from swim 6 (the outlet) at the end of the dam wall on lodge lake. All fish were caught on Sticky baits krill 16mm boilies.

(Above) Ed Dyer first visit to Stafford Moor ! Ed had 7 fish from the beach swim on Beatties lake all fish were caught on LDM baits.

(Above) Liam Fry and friend Ryan banked ten carp up to 27lb 10oz from swim 2 (The sunset) up on lodge lake including a double taker all fish were caught on DNA SLK baits and S7 plus remix baits secret 12mm pop ups.

(Above) Matt Thomas who had a 20lb common out from the summer hut swim on Beatties lake caught with hot tuna & scopex boilies snowman style.

Upper Tamar Thirty

Aaron Bunning fished overnight session at Upper Tamar Lake between work and had this report for us: ‘I had a 31lb common and 19lb 8oz mirror, part of a 4 fish catch I had sunday night. All fish fell to Nashbait Citruz pop ups over Scopex Squid. I am over the moon to have now had a 30+ common and mirror from Upper Tamar!’

Upper Tamar In Fine Form

Just a few of the  fine carp tempted from Upper Tamar Lake over recent weeks.

Upper Tamar is not just a carp water it also has a vast range of other options with specimen perch, roach and eels along with bream and plenty of silver making it a fine match venues.  (Below)Stuart Burridge had a cracking day at Upper Tamar with 42lb of roach and skimmers on the tip.

Jennetts Carp Brace

Allan Jones and Karl Yates enjoyed their first fishing trip out since lockdown started. Jennetts was the destination and Allan was rewarded with a common of 19lb 6oz and Karl 23lb 2oz . Regulars to Jennets will be pleased that the fallen tree that has blocked access to far side has now been cleared away.

THIRTY FROM PARADISE

Massive congratulations to our head baliff Ashley Bunning who has caught the beautiful Xanna at 30lbs 2oz from Nirvana’s Xanadu Lake.
Ashley said –
“Well this happened last night! With days only on local waters allowed, I decided to set a target of catching Xanna from the day ticket Xanadu at work (anglers paradise). After getting through a few 20s and double figure commons, on the 5th day I had her! NashBait cultured citruz bottom bait did the business. First 30lber of the year! Happy days!!”

Carp From Paradise

Brothers Aaron Bunning and our head Baliff Ashley decided to take advantage of their local Lakes here at Anglers Paradise and chose Nirvana’s Xanadu Carp Lake.

Aaron caught a stunning 22lb 2oz Common and a 18lb 8oz Mirror during his session using Nash Citruz pop up, flake and liquidised bread, and Ashley caught a lovely 20lb 14oz Common and also a 16lb Common using Nash Citruz Pop Ups over a bed of strawberry crush boilies. The fish are definitely warming up for Spring!

Paradise Carp

Aaron Bunning  took  advantage of his local Lakes at Anglers Paradise and caught these 2 beauties!
A stunning 22lb 2oz Common and a 18lb 8oz Mirror both from Nirvana’s Xanadu Lake caught using Nash Citruz pop up, flake and liquidised bread.

Winter Carp from Local waters

Rob Kendall has enjoyed winter action  at Jennetts during his his last two trips resulting in four carp topped by these two at 27lb 6oz and 27lb 3oz. Caught over 1/2 kg of a test bait that he has developed along with close friend Stuart Hutchings.
(Below)Paul Blake fished at Darracott and was delighted to tempt one of the reservoirs largest known residents a fine common carp of 22lb 12oz.
