16 anglers fished, Today’s match produced a very close result , Martin’s catch on peg R , was made up of 6 large carp, caught on 8mm pellets and bread, tipped the balance. Junior member Thomas Scott has really sorted out the notorious peg L and had a terrific bag of mainly carp on red maggots on the pole for second overall. John Lisle has come in third another carp net and fourth with a great net of silverfish and small carp was Kevin Shears. Fifth spot went to Stephen Craker a long pole and punch, Tyler Scott came in 6th. Weather was damp and breezy this seems to have encouraged the larger carp to feed.
